The Opportunity
Our experienced National Sales Manager will bring previous Business-to-Business and/or Business-to-Distribution sales solutions and expertise to our proprietary product line. This intricate role is responsible for maintaining and developing new critical customer relationships through distribution of Burger & Brown Engineering, Inc.’s proprietary products and services.

Essential Job Functions
- Lead a team dedicated in developing and maintaining customer relationships in support of our proprietary line of products.
- Oversee our customer and distributor relationships in terms of sales growth, profitability, customer service, issue resolution, and product development and introduction.
- Collaborate and train existing domestic distribution network on proprietary products and services.
- Find areas of growth. Product development initiatives when identifying a need.
- Partnership experience with proven relationship building skills and proven track record of responsiveness. Plan, prepare and anticipates customer needs.
- Meet personal, department and company performance objectives for productivity, quality, and strive for continuous improvement. Delivers customer-centric solutions.
- Metric fluent in understanding products, deliverables, and quantifiable terms.
- Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, takes initiative operating with a sense of urgency in a growth-mode environment and ability to act effectively with little direction.
- Communicate pertinent information and perform as a company/team player.
- High level of involvement, team participation and role model/mentor to team.
- Serve multiple customers actively and their product/support requests.
- Inter-department communication regarding pertinent information with associates and leadership is essential to the success in serving customers.
- Maintain documents in a secure digital format (i.e., prints, models, quotes, etc.).
- Provide support to SMARTFLOW®, Molding, Machining and Engineering teams.
- Be able to perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while performing various other duties as assigned.
- Follow safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of equipment and procedures
Job Specifications & Requirements
Educational/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-10+ years’ B2B or B2D sales experience and/or manufacturing industry experience
- Mechanical aptitude, knowledge/experience is a plus for this role
Communication Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience initiating and developing win-win partnerships
- Exemplary customer service, responsiveness and relationship building
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a variety of people and personalities with strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Ability to lead/mentor, discipline (if necessary), and further develop sales and customer support associates
Computer/Technical Skills Requirements
- Superior organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and quality
- Full competency in Microsoft Office 365, internet and memorized key board typing (non-hunting and pecking)
- MS Excel, reports/reporting, mathematical calculations
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience
Performance and Travel
- A consistent track record of increasing sales revenue, team morale and add value
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and passport
- Ability for domestic travel as required up to 50% of the time
- Potential international travel, as required
