Burger & Brown is a privately-held, next generation, precision manufacturing company in Grandview, Missouri founded in 1978 (Kansas City metro). Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create long-term operational plans and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiency gains.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including production, supply chain, logistics, and facilities management.
- Ensure that all operational processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the operations team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure team development and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial discipline.
- Analyze financial reports and operational data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
- Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Leverage technology and innovation to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Assess and manage operational risks, including supply chain disruptions, regulatory compliance, and safety issues.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate potential operational disruptions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and customers.
- Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and other external events.
- Hands on problem solving, active leadership, and close attention to detail.
- Assist with quoting when necessary.

Job Specifications
Educational/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Communication Skills
- Effectively communicate with all levels of associates, suppliers, and customers by phone, email, or in person.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Computer/ Technical Skills
- Superior organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and quality
- Document Management Software (Adobe Systems Adobe Acrobat)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit and ERP Systems
Problem Solving/ Reasoning Ability
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands on approach.
Physical Specifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Standing for extended periods on hard surfaces
- Regular physical movement and exertion
- Constant movement; up/down from sitting position as well as and walking
