We are seeking driven, highly motivated, collaborative, and intellectually curious professionals who want to be part of cultivating the highest impact culture in the agriculture equipment industry.  Previous experience and knowledge of large ag equipment or commercial/turf equipment is welcomed but not required. The Opportunity:  We are looking for a tech-savvy, go-getter, with a passion for developing people and leading the exposure and implementation of new technology and equipment into the market! This individual will build and lead the AVE-PLP Product Innovation team to success by building the strategy and executing the plan to saturate the market with new and existing technology and equipment.  This role will be responsible for creating confidence in our new and current products both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures AVE-PLP is positioned as the Precision Ag market leader.
  • Responsible for PAES (Precision Ag Engagement Score) results through strategy, plans and communication.
  • Leads and manages the New Product Innovation and Regional Product Innovation Specialist teams.
  • Develops and implements Test, Limited Production Build (LPB) and current technology and equipment demonstration strategy and process.
  • Leads the testing of new product offerings and development of the ROI on these products.
  • Supports internal and external training on technology products, services, and resources.
  • Maintains current product knowledge on all new/used equipment potentially saleable by the dealership, including features/benefits and machine compatibility/ technology integration.
  • Exhibits outstanding communication skills and cooperates with other departments and locations. Promotes teamwork, maintains a positive attitude and supports the concept of one face to our customers.

Key Qualifications for Success:

  • 5+ years of experience in an agricultural-related role with activities such as sales, service, training, or other related work. Prior experience with John Deere technology and support is preferred.
  • Associate degree, or higher, in an agricultural-related major or equivalent experience.
  • Operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs.
  • Effectively resolve challenging customer issues.
  • Think strategically.
  • Multitask, manage multiple priorities, meet short/changing deadlines and is energized by a fast-paced environment.
  • Build relationships through phone interaction and/or web-based communications.
  • Strong data management abilities and computer skills including excel and PowerPoint (or similar tools) and ability to analyze and interpret data and reports.
  • Demonstrates leadership, organizational, management, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
